Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

 

Contributing and developing integrated marketing campaigns to promote a product, service, or idea. This a varied role, which includes:

  • planning
  • advertising
  • public relations
  • event organization
  • product development
  • distribution
  • sponsorship
  • research.

 

2.    Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

·       Communicate with target audiences and develop customer relationships

·       Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns

·       write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns

·       Organize the producing of content, including videos and blog posts

·       Organize and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions

·       Assist in implementing the marketing strategy

·       Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising, and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective

·       Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports

·       Conduct market research and assist in monitoring the competitor activity

·       Communicate with external agencies, when needed, to effectively arrange events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials, and online activities

        Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business or management, communications, and marketing (Major psychology is a plus)

        2-4 years of marketing experience

        Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients

Area of knowledge:

        Social media and numeracy skills

       foreign language ability – may be helpful if working for multinational companies.

       Excellent command in spoken and written English

       Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods

       Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices

       Creativity and commercial awareness
