The Teacher is responsible for the overallinstruction and care for the children in her/his class to help them achieve their utmost potential. S/Hewillfocus on facilitating the development of children’s skills, character and their love for learning. S/He is to follow the educational philosophy and thecurriculum outlined by STEAMulation Hub, as well as, itspolicy and systems. S/He is accountable forensuring that the personal care, hygiene, learning & developmentactivities, specialized programs, and the positive discipline of the childrenare all implementedaccording to our high standards and maintaining our reputation for excellence. S/He will design and provide astimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environmentwhere children have the opportunity to develop their cognitive, language, social–emotional, physical,and self-help skills. S/He must maintain anongoing link of communication, verbal & written, withall parents of children in her class making suretoinform them of the progress of their child(ren) and to handle any of their concerns related to the children’s educational anddevelopmental needs. S/He is required to work in collaboration with herclassroom co-teacher & teacher aides to achieve her objectives. S/He may need to train, coach and supervisethe classroom’s Assistant Teacher or Teacher Aide(s).
